Sheila Scott has been working with dental practices for over 20 years, and in that time has surveyed thousands of patients. She has inside knowledge of what patients are looking for from dental practice – and where most practices fail to impress the only person that really matters in the practice – the patient.
Sheila helps practices focus on the important things; make the most of their services and communications to patients to achieve appreciation and loyalty; become more successful and profitable. She also works to improve leadership and team skills.
Sheila has a degree in Psychology (MA 1980), and qualifications in Marketing (Diploma, 1984), Counselling (City and Guilds,1994) and Training (CIPD cert (2003). She will have completed accreditation in Mediation (CORE)by the time of the meeting in 2012. She has been honorary vice president of the British Dental Practice Managers' Association and is accredited to teach Edward de Bono's Six Thinking Hats®. She lectures in the UK and abroad, runs well appreciated workshops, provides in practice training and consultancy, and is trying hard to write her second book with dental journalist Caroline Holland.
